Let’s start your expedition with humpback whales in the Pacific Ocean in Moorea !

Embark on an unforgettable 7-day adventure in the heart of the Pacific Ocean in Moorea, where you'll have the chance to swim for 5 days with humpback whales in their natural habitat. Throughout the expedition, we may also encounter sharks, rough-toothed dolphins, spinner dolphins, pilot whales, and more nature always surprises us!

You will be guided throughout the week by both of us, Louise. While we share our knowledge and experiences with you, Louise G your photographer for the week, will be capturing every magical moment with her camera, ensuring you have lasting memories of your adventure.

Included :

  • Transfers on the island of Moorea included (arrival to the accommodation and between tours during the stay)

  • Shared Accommodation in Moorea ( 7 nights ) 

  • 5 days on the water on private boat tours ( 3 full days & 2 half days)

Nestled in the heart of French Polynesia, Moorea is a dream island that captivates all who visit. With its lush green mountains, turquoise lagoons teeming with marine life, and golden sandy beaches, it’s no wonder visitors often compare it to the stunning landscapes of Jurassic Park. From the magnificent Haapiti Bay, nestled along the island’s wild west coast, to the breathtaking panoramas of Cook’s and Opunohu Bays, Moorea’s scenery is truly unforgettable.

Whether you’re snorkeling in coral gardens, hiking scenic trails, or simply soaking in the island’s tranquil charm, Moorea promises an experience you’ll never forget.

HumPBACK WHALES

Every year, from july to november humpback whales migrate to the warm waters of French Polynesia to mate, give birth and nurse their calves, offering a unique opportunity to observe them in their natural habitat. 

During this week, we’ll look for them in a respectful approach and in full compliance with local regulations, to protect these magnificent creatures. Every encounter requires patience, as sea conditions vary daily, and finding whales takes time and perseverance. With positivity and respect for nature, we will share unforgettable moments of awe and harmony with the ocean.

ACCOMMODATION

We will be staying in a comfortable house, offering all the necessary amenities for a pleasant and enjoyable stay. Set in a peaceful location, the house provides the perfect place to unwind and recharge after a day of adventure on the water.

Accommodation details will be confirmed once we have a clear understanding of the group composition, including solo travelers, couples, and friends. Our rooms are typically set up for double occupancy, but if you prefer more privacy, single rooms can be arranged for an additional fee upon request.

Traveling as a group creates a dynamic atmosphere where everyone’s energy and enthusiasm enhance the journey. Whether through shared adventures, conversations, or simply enjoying the beauty of the surroundings, the bonds formed during this trip will make every moment even more memorable.

Food

We will be offering half-board accommodation during your stay. Each morning, you will enjoy a complete breakfast featuring fresh local products, tailored to your preferences and dietary restrictions. For dinner, we will work with a caterer to provide delicious meals, and one evening, we will dine at a local restaurant with a budget of $50 per person (included).

  • Transfer from the port to your accommodation – Arrival at the accommodation.

  • Welcome meeting to introduce the week's adventures and answer any questions.

DAY 4: WEDNESDAY

  • Morning: Half-day boat tour.

  • Afternoon: Guided island tour showcasing the most breathtaking viewpoints and hidden gems.

  • Dinner prepared by the chef.

DAY 5: THURSDAY

  • Full-day private boat tour to explore the ocean and search for humpback whales around the island.

  • Dinner prepared by the chef.

DAY 6: FRIDAY

  • Morning: Final half-day boat tour to enjoy the last moments on the water.

  • Dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 7: SATURDAY

  • Departure from the accommodation with unforgettable memories of your adventure.

Conditions to Join Our Expeditions

  • Travel insurance is mandatory for all participants.

  • You must be able to swim in the open ocean and use snorkeling gear.

  • Participants must be 18 years or older

  • A valid passport is required, with at least three months of validity beyond your return date to enter French Polynesia.

  • A visa may not be required, depending on your nationality.
